Barely nude

Somehow, I seem to have missed summer, this year. I heard the t.v., weather-man say that it had been the coldest in 55 years. Today Bob Reed heads south. No! Not for the winter but to attend the Bermagui Fair, with Colin Sell and ohers, where Colin will again inform visitors to his caravan about River Island and naturism, on Saturday.
On Sunday, there's the beach day, at Armonds Beach.
Bob's leaving today, Wednesday, to give his new car a good run. Will stop over with relatives before continuing on to Bermagui.
I have at least three things happening today, that stop me from helping him run in his car and accompanying him to these events.
I haven't been to Cobblers Beach, as far as I remember this recent summer - AT ALL. The drive from the south-western suburbs, particularly off the bridge (or tunnel) and Military Road and then the parking situation at Middle Head, when the weather has not been that great, were all off-putting. Better things to do.
Now there's a bike ride in Sydney, this coming weekend which also, I believe that I should leave to younger folk.
I hope it goes well. My bike is in a very bad state, in the shed. Last ridden about 13 years ago. Unbelievable!!
The messages I read regarding the attempts to have a national organisation lobbying for legal nude bathing, on our Australian beaches, are not encouraging and I'm confused about the stance of the local action group which seems to be anti membership (i.e., involving paying annual fees) of naturist organisations, yet, supports the I.N.F., which relies on the financial support of such international naturist bodies, which (last time I heard,) pay a membership fee based on the number of stamps sold for validating INF passports.
Hopefully, the sun will come out again, as of old, when the swimming season starts again (at least in New South Wales) in October.
Meanwhile, please DO enter your favourite (local?) beach (clothes-optional or not) in the Keep Australia Beautiful, Clean Beach Challenge. Watch out for launches of the competition(s) in your area.
