Why do people become Naturists?
There are probably many answers to this question, almost as many as there are naturists. Some like to refer to the fact that they were born that way. Yes, some even try it for the wrong reasons, but it quickly becomes evident that sex is not what it is about. If someone attempts to participate for this reason they are soon disappointed and leave on their own. Respectful and courteous behavior toward others is expected. Disrespectful behavior is not tolerated. Naturism is about freedom, enjoyment, and getting in touch with yourself and the real personality in others. At first it can be an exciting or even fearful experience simply due to the mental attitude or baggage we bring with us. The negatives quickly melt away to be replaced with a wonderful feeling of acceptance of yourself and others.
What a joy to skinny-dip,
Bare as one can be,
Water felt on all my skin
As it washes over me.
To feel warming rays all over, lying in the sun,
Remembering to rotate when one side enough is done.
The concept of the perfect body is a myth. We believe that the stress caused by the unrealistic expectations of society is very damaging. Naturists practice body acceptance. When you visit a naturist environment you'll find all types of bodies in all shapes, sizes, ages and colors — many of them with the signs of a full life.

A citation would be nice
I don’t know whether to be flattered or upset, but it would be nice if Sarababe would place in quotes and provide a citation for the paragraph above. The entire first paragraph was written by me and lifted verbatim from a website that I wrote and created several years ago. It can be found at http://montananaturist.org on the page labeled “Articles on Naturism.”
While I like to have naturism promoted as much as possible I think it is only fair and respectful to give credit to a source when it is known and not leave the impression that the words are their own.
Why co people become naturist?
Why not ...what is more comfortable than being nude regardless of the circumstances..I mean as long as the temperature is nice..why would anyone want to wear clothing? Nude is Natural, its the way we came into the world and the way we should enjoy the world..whenever possible.
naturism
There can be few reasons for people to become naturists but, apparently, many reasons why people object to it. If you are warm enough you don't need clothes but, because of their upbringing, most people detest seeing a naked body, it is rude to show certain parts of your body. Remember the Victorians covering the legs of their pianos? Or was that really not true. Parents think they are doing the right thing by continuing the customs of their upbringing and the local police don't help by following up trivial complaints made by the public. I hear that Spain and Portugal are going to relax even more their restrictions on people eing able to go nude. Eastern Europeans already have much more freedom in such matters.
